Whats your opinion of Bill Maher?

Hi,

I’m guessing that he’s a bit of a polarizing figure even here. While I don’t agree with him on some of his views (he seems islamophobic at times), and find him hard to stand on others (he is pretentious and arrogant), I greatly respect his willingness to be a bit of a bulldog on the left, which I think we need more of. I don’t have to like every aspect of someone to respect and enjoy watching them. I’m curious what a cross section of DUers think?
